Land (e) scape is performance format to engage with Puerto Rican experimental dance and performance art history. It reactivates performance codes found in a personal archive Alvarez have collected obsessively over the past years. As a queer decolonial act of myth-making it is also an attempt to place his body in relation to inanimate objects in order to bring back the immaterial substances of a collective, sensorial unconscious, always informed and contested by a long history of Puerto Rican anti-colonial struggles.
